The newborn stage is a blur — even when the nights feel long.For newborn sessions, there are two beautiful approaches.

◦ Staged Newborn Portraits - softly directed and carefully styled to achieve a specific look. I bring simple backdrops, minimal props, and delicate wardrobe pieces to create a small, comfortable studio in your home.In every session, safety and comfort come first.
No extreme posing. No forced positions. We follow your baby’s rhythm - with breaks for soothing or nursing whenever needed. The ideal time is 5–14 days after birth, when babies are sleepier and easier to pose. After the first weeks, lifestyle sessions remain a beautiful option.

2. We plan together - I check availability, suggest the best location and timing, and send you a tailored quote.
3. Confirm & prepare - After booking, you’ll receive confirmation, session details, and simple outfit guidance (plus any other tips you may need).
4. Session day - We meet, take it easy, and photograph your family in a relaxed, natural way.
5. Choose your favorites - A private proof gallery is delivered within 2–10 days, where you select the images you love.
6. Final delivery - Your fully edited photos are delivered within 5–30 days after selection in a private online gallery, available to you for 1 year.
7. Optional prints - After delivery, your gallery includes an easy online print shop. Prints are fulfilled by professional labs in your home country to avoid shipping issues or extra taxes.
Margaret took our family pictures last year and she is amazing photographer. What sets her apart from other photographers is her use of natural light in the pictures. Every picture she took with our family was done by utilising the lights reflections in the water. Costa Rica is such a beautiful place and it was important to capture this in our family pictures in a beautiful place.
Margaret was wonderful! I cannot recommend her enough. We had a family of 13 people including a baby and 4 little kids (one of whom decided during the photo shoot that she was "scared of sand") and she somehow managed to get FANTASTIC pictures of our whole crew!! If you're in Costa Rica and want pictures to remember your vacation, look no further. She's the best!

Margaret has an amazing eye and was able to capture our family beautifully. She took time to travel to us, scope out great spots and was amazing with our children.
